USA Pan Bakeware Use & Care

Proper use and care can help maintain the performance and appearance of your USA Pan bakeware over time. Care recommendations vary depending on the type of bakeware or accessory, so follow the guidance that applies to your product.

Silicone Nonstick Bakeware

USA Pan bakeware with our silicone based nonstick coating is designed for reliable food release and everyday baking performance.

Use

Do not exceed 450°F (230°C).
Our bakeware conducts heat efficiently, so you may need to reduce baking time or temperature as needed. Follow your recipe instructions for greasing and flouring as directed. Cooking spray is not recommended.
Use only silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils. Avoid sharp metal utensils that may scratch or damage the surface.

Cleaning

Hand washing with warm, soapy water is recommended to help preserve the nonstick coating and maintain long term performance.
Use mild dish soap with a soft sponge or nylon cleaning pad. Avoid steel wool, harsh abrasives, and abrasive cleaning tools. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
Washing soon after use can also help reduce residue buildup and staining.

Protecting the Appearance of Your Bakeware

Some foods, oils, and fats may cause staining or discoloration over time without affecting the performance of the pan.
To help maintain your bakeware's appearance, use a silicone baking mat or line the pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper when roasting vegetables or preparing higher fat foods such as French fries or meat.
Normal cosmetic changes can occur with regular use and do not necessarily affect the performance of your bakeware.

Uncoated Bakeware

Uncoated USA Pan bakeware does not feature our silicone nonstick coating and requires additional care to help prevent sticking and protect the exposed surface.

Use

Do not exceed 450°F (230°C).
Our bakeware conducts heat efficiently, so you may need to reduce baking time or temperature as needed.
Follow your recipe instructions and use flour, grease, parchment paper, or a silicone baking mat as appropriate to help prevent sticking.

Cleaning

Hand wash in warm water with mild dish soap using a sponge or nylon cleaning pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not place uncoated bakeware in the dishwasher.
Avoid steel wool, harsh abrasives, and abrasive cleaning tools.

Protecting the Appearance of Your Bakeware

To help maintain the appearance of uncoated bakeware, use a silicone baking mat or line the pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper when roasting vegetables or preparing higher fat foods such as French fries or meat.
Dry uncoated bakeware thoroughly before storage.

Parchment Paper

USA Pan parchment paper can be used for baking, roasting, steaming, freezer to oven preparation, and food packaging.

Do not exceed 450°F (230°C).

USA Pan parchment paper is coated on both sides with food grade silicone.

Reuse and Care

Parchment sheets may be reused multiple times when they are not overly soiled. Wipe the sheet clean or gently scrape away remaining food residue before reusing.
Use silicone, nylon, or wooden utensils to help prevent tearing. Avoid sharp metal utensils

Storage

Store parchment paper flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding the sheets when possible to help prevent permanent creases.
