Breakfast Casserole

Another great use for your USA Pan Rectangular Cake Pan is a yummy breakfast casserole! This can be prepped and then refrigerated overnight, so all you need to do is pop it in the oven in the morning. Perfect for holidays or when you have a house full of guests. A complete breakfast in one dish!

20 oz. shredded has browns (thawed)
1 lb. sausage - browned and drained
1/4 cup diced onion
2 cups shredded cheese - divided
8 eggs
1 1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 red bell pepper diced - optional
1/2 green bell pepper diced - optional
Any other extras can be added as desired

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, salt, and pepper. Set aside. Layer the hash browns in the bottom of your USA Pan Rectangular Cake Pan (9x13" pan). Next, layer the sausage, onions, peppers (if using), 1/2 cup of cheese, and any other extras you wish. Pour egg mixture over the top and stir to combine. Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake in oven for 55-65 minutes until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted. Enjoy!
