Ingredients

2 cups old fashioned oats (not quick cooking)
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup roughly chopped nuts (divided)- we used walnuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 apples- peeled, cored and chopped into 1/2" pieces
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 tablespoons melted butter

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Place apples in bottom of USA Pan 9" pan (you can also use an 8") Mix together oats, brown sugar, raisins, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and 1/2 c of the nuts. In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs and then add milk and vanilla. Add milk mixture and melted butter to oats. Stir to combine. Pour on top of the apples and finish with the other 1-2 c chopped walnuts. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until oats are set.
