White Chocolate Meringue Cookies
These white chocolate dipped merinue cookies are a unique Valentines dessert. Only a few simple steps to make these heart shaped cookies!
Bake Time: 11-15 minutes

4 egg whites (room temp)
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup confectioners sugar
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form. Slowly add granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in the confectioners sugar. I added food coloring to achieve the pink color and used a star tip to pipe heart shapes. Bake for 1 hour and then turn off oven and leave in oven to dry out for several hours or overnight. Or, you could bake for 2 hours. Melt white chocolate (careful not to scorch it!). Dip meringues in melted chocolate and sprinkles. ENJOY!!
