USA Pan Sheet Pan

1/2-2/3 cup half and half
1 cup cinnamon chips
2 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons softened butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon

3 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
7 tablespoon water

Recipe Instructions

Mix together in large bowl, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Work in the butter. Add eggs, vanilla, and half and half. Stir until moistened and holds together. Start with 1/2 c half and half and add more as needed. Stir in cinnamon chips. Roll or pat dough into a 9 x 9 square on well floured surface. Mix together cinnamon filling and spread over scone dough. Take one end and fold it halfway (like you are folding a letter). Fold remaining edge over to the center. You will have a rectangle now. Shape this rectangle into approximately 3 " x 18" rectangle. Cut into 6 squares. Cut each square in half diagonally to get 12 triangles. Place these onto your parchment lined (filling can ooze out, parchment makes for easy clean up) USA PAN sheet pan. Place in freezer for 30 minutes. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Cool scones on pan. Mix together glaze ingredients and drizzle over scones, or you can coat each scone entirely with the glaze.
